I've scanned and searched (and probably missed some good info) but does anyone have a picture of what the front cab corners looked like originally, there was not enough of mine left to get a good picture in my mind of how to fabricate them. As you can see there wasn't much left, and I've made patterns to at least make sure there is a point to attach the rear of the fender, I hope I get close
Thanks for any and all help!!

Reason: clarify what I need
Thanks for those pictures, they do help. It appears you have had to cut some rust out to repair that area. Does the area that the cowl vent ties to (yeah, where all the debris goes to rot everything out) have drain holes or??? Does it vent down or to the back?
It appears your cab is in decent shape (well compared to mine),
I also envy your having it on a rotisserie and stripped is an advantage. When I built the 53 Stude that I used to have I had stripped it totally and sand blasted virtually every square inch, made it easy to fix the rust, see what metal was sound and of course, paint. I didn't realize how rusty this was when I purchased it
There are gaps at the bottom of the A post that are supposed to drain it. They get clogged easily. The red arrows in the photo are where there are gaps for drainage. Some additional photos as well.
Here are some photos of my 62. Currently on a rotisserie and waiting for me to finish....
Bruce you aren't finished with that rotisserie yet? I 've been waiting guess I need to get going. Been down for a few months had a another heart attack. Yeah like me whoops it put me in for a week and while in they diagnosed me with Parkinsons does it ever stop? Been neglecting the 62 tried to get out there a couple days ago but no strength yet. Still haven't finished the power steering have it all clamped up getting ready to drill but still can't seem to get it lined up good either to close to lower frame or not in line with the steering column. Got a friend supposed to come over when he gets some time.. Decided to try the interior as it involves setting a little got a seat out of a Ford F150 with the little armrest in center it fits frame holes just trying to make up my mind. Painted interior Porsche India Red yeah still not sold on it. Well getting tired ready to call it a day this Parkinsons is the pits hand tremors so bad can't hold anything worse trying to get food from plate to mouth guess going to become a lefty. Take care good to see someone still up here.
Bruce you aren't finished with that rotisserie yet?.
Sorry to hear about the Parkinson's, sucks. Stay active and just do as much as you can, even if its just a little.. I have been stalled on the 62 for a while. Looking forward to better weather and the time to keep going on it. -B
Thanks@7BercMerc I am making progress, the drivers side is mostly done
Hope I am in the ball park for the fender attachment point. a "reasonable? facsimile" of the front dog leg.
