My1999 f250 2WD has a 6.0 trans cooler. When at operating temperature my trans temp (aftermarket gauge) is about 60 degrees above ambient temperature.
today it was 50 degrees outside trans temperature 110. I realize that is cooler than where the trans normal operating temp would be.
When I checked the trans fluid today at my operating temperature the level was 3/4 on the cold mark at the bottom of the stick. Picture shows stick wiped clean.
just where should my level be?
