Can't be motor related most likely. They look brand new not years inside of a motor. Practical joke?

↑ ↑ ↑ Running a telescoping magnet into a pan is sort of standard stuff when the front cover is removed. I have found interesting stuff in pans back in the days. Keys, broken teeth, chain pieces, pieces of bolts etc. Don't remember springs though. Main bearings, pieces of Rods or pistons. Broken pumps too. Hyd. pumps mounted to off the Crankshaft pulley or front timing covers on industrial motors, breaking cranks or front Main bearing caps.
I seem to remember some Electrical equipment using those types of springs to hold brush tensions.

Maybe Text you a reply is a few hours. 2.9L built in Cologne Germany plant. I'm guessing they fell from somewhere above and got stuck in the Covers
Oxidation / rust protection stuff before getting to the assembly location. Parts are made long time before production, maybe across German city somewhere.
I was in a Foundry that was pouring Sleeves for Diesel motors, they had burnt up a Fork truck sitting too close to a pore area, New tires, new wiring, radiator,
Hoses, belts and re-painted. Seat, that sort of stuff. Luckily the LPG didn't explode.
Those were some hard guys doing those pours, while walking on top of them casting Molds. It was fun watching them make the molds.
So hot temps there though.

My thought "id" the Oil changers; are druggies! The Point being the springs would most likely fall down into the pans motor oil and be found in it.
The springs would have been put into the oil & dumped into the fill spout of the motor during an oil change. Sure unprovable but a great suspected plot.
It's most likely the same with all the cracked broken - damaged valve stems in the modern tubeless tire with psi monitors.
