As my name suggests, I own a flooded e99 F-250 SD with a 7.3 powersmoke and a zf6 manny. 4 inch lift and of course 4x4. 5 inch straight pipe and some other mods not worth mentioning
I also own an 88 ranger with a factory 4d55t diesel paired with a manual. It’s currently in a bunch of pieces because I’m going to rebuild it at some point
For any 7.3 powerstroke questions, I’m your guy. And if you need an IDM, I repair em
Good morning. I’m John from Columbia. Been turning wrenches for 30 years as a hobby and professionally, own a ‘93 f150 5.0L at short bed single cab, ‘96 splash suprecab 3.slo 5 speed rolling on 31x10.5s, and a ‘99 f150 extended cab (4 door) with 4.2 v6 and 5 speed.
Worked as a Volkswagen mechanic for about 15 years, got into fords when I my dad gave me his ‘98 explorer 4L DOHV which needed timing chains 15+ years ago.
Currently looking at putting a different engine in the ranger, and have some wonky wiring issues I need to work out, and the ‘93 will soon need an oil pump and power steering pump so that should be fun.
I am also working on a ‘54 dodge c cab that’s been in the family since about ‘75, and a ‘70 vw Karmann Ghia convertible that I’ve ’restored’ over the past 25 years.
Yep.
Hey everyone. I've got a 76 f-150 4x4. Used to be my daily for awhile till I got my real estate license (10mpg sucks into the profit margin). Still got the truck though and making improvements when I can. Coming out of the Charleston area.
Morning. I am between Fords. I was almost finished restoring a '46 pickup when disaster struck in Nebraska where I used to live. Floods took care of my work site so I retired early and moved down here where it's supposed to be warm! None of my pensions are taxed so I can afford to live here as long as I stay home.
I sold the Ford to someone out west. He took it home and is now still driving it here and there. I hang out in the '47 and Older forum but haven't posted much in years.

Hey Gator! My first full rebuild of an engine was a '71 Super Beetle engine that I melted a bearing on when I ran too low on oil. It sat in my '61 Baja Bug. I loved that thing, until I moved to Colorado, way too cold for no real "heater"!
Good morning and happy inauguration day/Martin Luther King Jr. Day/Civil Rights Day/Monday,
I'm Doug Rad from Fountain Inn. Confirming that I can't add a pin on the map, and I'm pretty competent in Google My Maps, so I'm confident others probably wouldn't be able to figure out (if it's possible).
I've got a 96 F250 that I got a couple years ago, but I've been a Ford fan since growing up working on my family's 15 passenger E350 with my dad.
I really like my truck, especially after doing a spark plug swap on my wife's stupid Kia minivan. Took me about 4 hours. Would have taken maybe an hour on my truck even with 2 extra plugs. I got it with a ton of work done, engine, heater core, brakes and brake lines, so it doesn't need a lot. I did my radiator when it kept overheating, never had a problem since. I swapped my offset rims for something closer to stock. Looking to sell my old rims, if that's allowed here. They're aftermarket Ion rims, so they're show quality. I've posted in on Facebook Marketplace. for details below. Happy to give a discount to someone in the forum near me (nice to meet up with someone too!)
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1256738028989384Nice to see new management trying to drum up interest. Would love to catch people in the Upstate, around Greenville esp.
I've actually been a member here for awhile but never did anything with it. I'm a semi-retired carpenter with a varied work background including car and motorcycle mechanics. I live in the foothills of upstate SC and my blood has always runneth Blue Oval though I do like some other stuff too. Currently working on a 91 E350 but also do some stuff with a friends 03 F150 4WD and am hoping to find a 1st gen Ranger again. Had two of those in the past as well as a 64 F150 which had a 427 medum-riser in it and a 52 F1 which someone dropped a 302 Mustang engine, trans, and shifter in. Wish I'd kept some of that!
Hello everyone. Looking forward to learning from all of you and to contributing. I live in the Myrtle Beach area and am retired. Looking forward to meeting y'all should we have a roundup! Tom
Sweet lookin chariot. Mine is an older one but it looks good for a 25yo mule. My first year in Myrtle Beach we had hurricane Hugo and that Christmas Eve, 15in of snow!

Thanks for the input Doug. I know that I was having trouble and had to click the "open in my maps" link to be able to drop a pin. I got the idea from the MD chapter and theirs seems to be working for the most part. I will definitely keep playing with it to see if there is something that needs to be done to make it so others can add pins. If not I, and maybe you a some others... lol, will just try to add people as they join.
Just an FYI for others, you do have to have a google account to be able to add a pin to the Membership Map.
