Hey everyone! As the newly appointed SC Chapter leader I hope that with your help we can get this chapter active again.
Once things get rolling I would like to see about making a few sub-chapters. One each for the Upstate, Midlands and Lowcountry. (Sorry Pee Dee) 😂
One of the main reasons I joined the chapter was in hopes of finding or creating a listing for good "old school" salvage yards. If anybody knows of any please post them and if warranted I will create a sticky thread that can be a reference for all.
Also I would like to make a thread dedicated to local meetups that already are ongoing. I have found a few such groups on FB but thought it would be cool to list them here as well.
Let's make the SC Chapter vibrant and fun for everyone.
If anybody has suggestions or any issues please reach out to me!
Thanks Ryan,
We’re in the upstate Easley, SC area. Bought my son a 1978 F150 and looking for meetups, advice, project help etc when it comes to fixing up his truck.

Cool deal. I am relatively new to the game and have already learned a TON of info from the site and its members. I am looking forward to hopefully building a network of locals that not only can share info but can get together when needed to have a in person look at different setups etc.

I’ve searched all over for classic yards and most seemed to have closed within the last 15 years from people selling out and sending everything to the crusher. Best places is usually like a upullit yard since they sometimes have a classic section.
