Vermont December 2024 - Another year almost over but time to get that Christmas shopping done
Good morning Vermont and FTE land. Have a trouble free day. Last month of 2024. Wow, the months seem to be flying by and hardly remember any of them. Kind of stressful time with Christmas coming. We did get our tree yesterday and got it decorated in the same day. Great to have that completed. Thanksgiving day we got a solid 6" of snow. This week looks like it will stay at or below freezing so it won't be going anywhere soon with possibly more Wednesday/Thursday. Have a great December
Merry Monday morning Vermont, Jim, Shawn and all the Frozen Woodchucks!
Started the morning at 16° in my woods. This is December and February! We shouldn't be this cold!! But the sun is out, and we are already at the high for the day 32°.
Shawn, I would keep my warm clothes on until you reach the Floriday line and maybe a few miles more! LOL
Jim, I guess you and I are left behind to freeze and tend to the Fort! LOL

Not much planed here today except stay warm!
Good afternoon Rod. Someone has to man the northern fort
Good evening woodchucks. 300 plus miles today, short day because we left just before noon. Stayed East on 87 instead of heading west to 81 to avoid the western NY snow. So far so good. A few snow squalls but short lived. Temps are cool, 22 tonight, but I think we will be below the Thursday snow storm. Spending the night at a cracker barrel in Clinton NJ on I78 heading to I81 now that we are south of the weather. We'll be in NC tomorrow.

Good to hear you had safe leg yesterday. Good luck on the next leg.
Been too long since I have visited all ye Vermont folks.....
Staying busy as a beaver.....
My latest project is re-building a 40 ft steel flatbed trailer. I will be using this to carry a 40 ft x 8 ft x 9.5 ft high shipping container.
This rig will be my Moving Van when we move to Abilene Texas this coming summer.....
Got up too early this morning..... 0400 feet hit the deck.

Have some fun today and think Safe.....
Good morning Roy. I'm not surprised you are working on another project. First I have heard of you moving south. Getting away from the cold? Do you already have a place purchased? Sounds like a busy summer planned.
Happy Hump Day Vermont, Jim, On The Road Again Shawn - you sang that didn't you, Roy and all the Woodchucks!
Started the day in my woods at 16° and a cold breeze, a flurry here and there but nothing to worry about and the Soothsayers say we will see 45°, cold wind and cloudy skies. After yesterday I doubt we see the temperature! Another day of staying in and staying warm!
Shawn, Glad you made it south of the squall line safe and that next leg NC and let us know when you are there. Safe Travels!
Jim, have a great day I hope Ma Nature is nice to you. Don't let the Indians over run the Fort!
Roy, Morning and you must be hold-up in the warm and making the rounds today!

Good morning Rod. I don't think the indians are the ones I need to worry about, it is the eskimos.
