I need suggestions to fix my issues
I have two problems right now.
Sometimes (not all the times its completely random) when i accelerate and i let off to either stop or just cruse, the engine stays accelerated. The throttle pedal does not stay stuck on floor. Only way to fix is to give it a nice pump on throttle pedal and it decelerates.
I recently installed a new carburetor that is non feedback. My 85 bronco 2 originally came with a feedback carb, i only replaced the carburetor i didn’t replace the distributor (i did rebuild distributor though)or ignition coil. The reason why i removed the feedback carb is because when i purchased the truck it had a lot of vacuum hose missing that returned to the sensors, at times the truck would run very accelerated and at other times very unaccelerated. It would idle high at other time very low to the point of just staying running. I would adjust carb, it would be good for a day and then go haywire agin. I then purchased all the hoses and properly hooked it all up the truck ran worse then how i purchased it.But my problem is when i go to accelerate, the truck bogs out and stalls out. When i let off the accelerator it stay running and idles fine. The first night I installed the new carb it ran really well, I did notice a minor lack of power from engine. Two or three days later when i went to drive it, the issue was present. I do live in Chicago and it is getting colder out.
Any answers or advice would be greatly appreciated
