I bought an 8rt back around 1998 to rebuild. Many years, military moves, and life just generally “getting in the way” I finally got it back together. I’ve had this motor longer than my youngest daughter! 3 5/16 bore, 3 3/4 stroke, Evans heads, Motor city flathead 3/4 race cam. Motor city flathead oil filter system, 60 psi oil pressure at idle, has two 94s on top with an offenhauser super dual. Mallory dual point whirler.I only ran the engine for about 20 seconds as I don’t have a radiator that is clean. I can’t get even a 10 second video on here so only pictures I guess.
Pilot 31 did you plug off the fuel pushrod hole so as not to loose oil pressure ? I want to run a set up like yours but have been told I need to plug the hole for the fuel pump pushrod.
