Five mile hike up the mountain done and it was warm - I'm not acclimated to 80 degree weather.
Hope your week has started well.

Not sure what happened to the chief woodchuck but we'll muddle along without him.

 

Afternoon Shawn. We are suppose to get to the upper 70's today and then hit the mid 80's for Wednesday. It was is a little humid compared to what it has been over the last several days.

 

We hit 84 at noon and it feels muggier. I'm not ready for this.

 

Good Tuesday morning Vermont, MIA Jim, Shawn, Neil and all the Woodchucks. Yesterday it hit 83° and plenty of sun and today should be about 88° and sunny. But about midnight Ma Nature starts watering the garden.

 

Good morning Rod, Neil and visiting woodchucks. Forecast is for 84 today and even muggier. Our garden gets watered on Wed and Thursday. Have a great day.

Good morning Vermont and FTE land. Have a productive hump day and great June. I've been very busy this June. I have been helping my youngest with his eagle project. My wife pushed to get this done before boy scouts changes to scouting America. The project is replacing the non ADA handicap ramp at the Riverside grange in West Topsham with a new one, along with some outside solar lights. Spent 5/26 tearing the old one out, most of last week running around getting materials, and 12-13 hour days Saturday and Sunday building the new one. Need to pour the 5x5 slab at the end of the ramp, put up solar lights on the building and maybe a pole in the driveway to put a solar light on. The original ramp was made from waste granite slabs and pieces and the wooden railings were falling apart. I was going to have a guy with a small excavator move the granite but that was going to cost $300-500. My son and I got the railings out of the way in 1.5hr and decided to move the granite ourselves which took a little over an hour. Good thing we did, we needed all that money saved for buying materials. We had help building it from a friend and my oldest also helped on Sunday.

To add to the fun, our fridge has been making noise for a while. Sunday it ramped up the volume on the noise. A couple months ago we bought a used one anticipating this. Had to unplug it that night so we could sleep. So my oldest on Monday helped me move out the old one and bring in the replacement used one. Yesterday got that finished setting up and food loaded back in.

 

Good morning Bud. I'm good, just extremely busy. This is another reason why I like winter. I have a business trip end of June to Kansas City.

 

Good morning Shawn. Sounds like you should move the air conditioner to that area then.
