No Start No Fuel Pressure good spark good relays 1991 460 E350 RV
I should mention a couple weeks ago while the key was on the fuel pump kept running and flooded the motor bad. Gas was coming out of the throttle body into the air filter housing. I got it to stop by pulling the key out of the ignition ignition switch has some play in it too. Not sure if this is related the check engine code it through was both low and high fuel circuit errors . Both the ecc and fuel fuel pump relays were recently replace as they both had a lot of corrosion from water damage. Ignition coil recently replaced to .
I got spark I can hear the front and rear fuel pump buzz for a couple seconds when priming but no pressure. If I jump the high pressure pump it stays on and floods the engine . I tested both ecc and fuel pump relays they passed except when jumping fuel pump relay pin 3 and 4 nothing happens .I have 6 volts at enirta switch with key on. Switch button is down . No fuses are blown
What was the loud buzzing sound I use to hear when the fuel pump was being primed for a second or two that I now no longer hear?? It seems if I could identify what that was I might be able to fix the issue .
I assume the low and high pressure pumps are working since grounding #6 pin on test connector runs the high pressure pump and floods the engine . Also fuel filter is new..
Maybe my low pump failed ?
I am still stuck somewhere and unable to dump my tanks in RV as I canr move it. Is there a way to jump the fuel pump relay to get it to run ? I tried starting it with high pressure pump running and it would not start and not getting pressure at rail.
EDIT -. Update *****
I have zero pressure on two different gauges on rail with key on and also while cranking. I pulled the hose from the tank and while cranking and key on some gas comes out. I also pulled fuel hose going to the motor in front of the high pressure fuel pump on the rail and even less gas came out with key on and while cranking. Fuel filter is new it seems to be okay I can't imagine that it would get plugged within a thousand miles. My inertia switch is seeing battery voltage for a couple seconds while cranking .
Noid test light shows fuel injectors are pulsing.I have 12 volts on both sides of injector connectors with key on engine off.
Both ECC and fuel pump relay test okay .
I swapped out ECC computer , distributor , ICM still no start
I have good spark .
Both fuel pumps energize with key on . It will start and run for a few seconds with starter fluid then die when it dries up. .
Looks like fuel pump is bad . How do I know which one is bad ? I thought that the high pressure fuel pump puts out like 60 to 100 PSI. When I pulled fuel hose in front of it going to the motor barely any fuel came out when I cranked it.
So does that mean the high pressure fuel pump is bad or the low pressure fuel pump isn't supplying enough to the high pressure fuel pump?
I'm still not getting any buzzing noise like I used to when it energized . I don't know if that was a relay under the dash or something but that buzzing noise went away .
I'm not talking about the buzzing noise from the fuel pumps themselves being energized but maybe it was a relay I'm not sure but whatever it is that sounds gone.
Thanks for your time.
