2021 4dr. Wildtrack report
The gen. 6 is hands down more capable, comfortable, and better! Power? 330HP and 415 lbs./ft. is by far the most powerful engine ever offered in a Bronco.... until the Raptor of course. Power enough to easily spin theose 35 inch tires, offroad at least. Power delivery is smooth and linear as one would expect with sport mode bringing it up a notch. The ten speed automatic seemed pretty transparent in operation, just quietly and effectively doing its thing.
The suspension is very good for an IFS setup. On pavement very competent in steering, feedback and ability to handle at speed obstacles. In limited off-road use, I was thoroughly impressed. Ripping along an uneven muddy field a 35 MPH was effortless. IFS performance in small ditches was a non-issue. You can tell this thing is made to wheel!
The factory soft top is easy to open for those sunny... but not too sunny days. Wind noise at 75 MPH on the interstate surrounded by 18 wheelers isn't pleasant! Stereo system seemed pretty good though. Open top.protection from the wind at city speeds (35 MPH) was surprisingly good. Seating is very nice for four passengers with that fifth surely to be pretty cramped. Rear seats are surprisingly roomy. Rear cargo capacity in the 4 door is quite good. The 2 door is a gym.bag or thin suitcase affair... just like the gen. 1 Bronco.
So capable, so customizable. Almost every part is designed with customization and future upgrades in mind. You don't need to be a certified welder, engineer and fabricator to make serious upgrades. Ford has done an excellent job here in my opinion.
Ford Bronco..... yeah.... it's all of that! Nice job FoMoCo!

pics, or it didn't happen!
Yes, the IFS has limitations, but for 99.9% of owners it will not matter. Ford did an excellent job in this regard. For the extreme rock crawler, yes - the articulation of a solid front axle is tough to beat, but for the other 99.9%.....
I really am amazed at how well these new Broncos perform. I hope you're getting some time to wheel yours!
