New carb for 1983 Ford F100
My papaw wants a new carburetor for his 1983 Ford F100 (5.0L 302cid V8) (Base Model). I tried looking for a Holley but the ones I found said it wasn’t legal to install them on emissions controlled vehicles. Not sure if I’m searching for the right stuff so I figured I’d see if anyone here knew what I should look for. The truck has automatic transmission and overdrive. The current carb has 2 barrels and electric choke so he wants that on the new one too. We think the CFM should be 500 but idk if going over or under that would be bad. Anyone got any suggestions?
