Who lives in the Tulsa area?

Howdy y'all!!

I'm reaching out to my Ford brothers and sisters. I've been an FTE member for over 10 years now and I've been in the US Navy since 2001. I grew up in Kiowa and Paden, OK. I am about to retire from the military next year and am wanting to live outside of Tulsa. Can anyone tell me of a nice little town that is clean and friendly? Looking for a Mayberry type of town (Andy Griffith Show). Hoping to buy about 10 acres of land and build a house.

Here's a pic of what I am bringing back with me. My daily.

Haskel's like that. About 100 people live there and it's pretty laid back. Close to civilization too (20 minutes).
Verdigris too.
Skiatook's a little bigger, but has nice people and a lake close by.
There's where I'd look at retiring.

I live outside Sapulpa. You going to need to move a little farther out to get any acreage at a decent price. Anything along the 412/i44/i75 corridors offer quick trips to Tulsa except from the south till they get the i75 bridge done in Glenpool.
