Hello everyone. I'm looking to do a carb swap on a 5.0 HO out of a 95 mustang GT. It has GT40P heads and shorty headers. Has some MSD street fire ignition coil on it too. Not sure what else was done to it but the guy I bought it off years ago (at least 9) said he put a cam in it. I for sure want to put a carb on it as it's going in a 1965 f100. As we said in the Army, going with the KISS method -Keep it Simple, Stupid. Horsepower is not a priority for now because that is way more money and if I had that then there would be a 347 going into it. This is just to get this truck moving on its own power as I build the rest up. Let's say I got 1K to throw at it. What is the best course of action? Thanks all.
edelbrock performer manifold, and a 650 CFM carb should do you good.
