New gas tank
Who makes good after market tanks and sending units? I need a new one in my 78 2wd f150, and intend to go to 38 gallon. This is because the rear tank is cruddy and fuel gauge doesn't read, and my side tank was taken out by the previous owner, I am planning to use that empty space for storage or something eventually.
I was just going to buy from Bronco Graveyard or rockauto or possibly Mills Supply,, but wondered if there was a quality difference in tanks and the sender units. I don't want to do the job twice.

We typically use Tanks Inc. products at the shop and they have performed quite well. I would have no problem recommending them to you. Their customer support is great also. You can get an OEM replacement or one ready for an EFI in tank fuel pump if upgrading to EFI was something you wanted to do. You can order direct from Tanks or get it through websites like Summit Racing.
For the sending unit Auto Metal Direct makes one and it's available directly from their website. We have used their products before with no issues.
