1995 bronco 351w engine swap.
Hey guys. New to the forums, have read them for years but haven't posted. So iv picked up a 95 eddie bauer bronco with the 5.8. Needs an engine. Found a 1990 f250 with the 5.8. If im correct, the flat tappets stopped in 94ish. I'm planning to tear into the f250 351 and do a rering and bearing refresher(only has 170xxx miles). Truck runs great. My question is... will my computer get along with timing curves and all that's different between roller and flat tappet? I may be complicating it, but it sparks my questioning. Iv looked into converting the flat to roller and I'm not wanting to put that kind of green into it. Just seeing what you guess thought. P.s. I'm going back stock besides headers, so I'm not worried about duration,lsa, lift or any of that. Thanks
