2023 Super Duty Bluetooth Glitching, warranty won't fix!!
My system glitches within minutes of a phone call and I have to disconnect bluetooth and continue my conversation on my phone. Also speakers make a crazy glitch sound when put in reverse listening to music or click the camera button to pull up one of the cameras on the screen. Warranty department says they don't know how to chase down the issue so I'm basically stuck with it until Ford can somehow find a fix without having my pickup or trying to replace items it could be? 8,000 miles currently but been doing it since it was brand new. Fords customer service is terrible so hoping someone else has had this issue to give me an idea of what needs replaced?
Warranty department??? Who are you talking to, dealer or someone at Ford?
And, you say customer service is terrible, so you have called Ford Customer care to open a case on the issue?
Really all you can do is pound on the dealer and Ford to find a solution, unless you want to pay out of pocket.
Mine does the same thing. If you listening to blue tooth music and a text comes through it blasts the music momentarily. It's been like this since new. What's crazy is that my Ranger is rock solid. Maybe Ford is working on a OTA update for this.
FIL's '23 does NOT do this. His was delivered in August.
Still, the advice above is sound, open a case with Ford Customer Care, try another dealer if necessary - depending on the dealer you're at they may not have techs who know what they're doing, some hire anyone who has ever turned a wrench, others actually hire qualified individuals.
I suspect it depends on how well optioned the truck is and if you use Android Auto etc.
My truck is loaded, and when the cameras are involved it amplifies it.
Come to think of it, my FIL's 2019 did something similar - it would be almost impossible to use the bluetooth to have a phonecall. However, plugging it in through a USB port had no issues. He never took it in, but from what I researched the issue was fixed through a software update to the Sync system.
It is likely a similar issue for the '23s. Make sure your phone is up to date with the latest software release, if the problem persists then Ford will likely have to issue a software update on their end as well.
Just thinking outside the box for a temporary solution while you wait on the dealer or Ford to solve the problem… On my 19 I have a small box (matchbox size) that connects to the USB port and makes CarPlay and Android Auto work wirelessly. Since both practically take over the action from the head unit it could be that you can operate without problems. Not sure, of course, but you can buy one from Amazon and if it doesn’t work you can send it back…

my 2023 Ford super duty lariat has the same issue been in the shop for over three months. I’m currently going through the lemon law with it the dealership replaced the audio control module and the APim module. And both roof speakers, and still no fix my truck was purchased in September and the first work order was end of October. The last work order was January 20. It’s been in the shop for over 66 days I started lemon law process back in December and Ford just offered me a cash and keep offer. Pennies on the dollar is what they offered me in comparison to what the truck is worth. Ford has no choice but to fully buyback the truck on my end I own the truck it’s not a lease. What’s the update on your case?
Would love to hear more on this. My 23 Plat has been back and forth to the shop for the exact issue. My state passed a law for handsfree driving so it needs to be fixed so I don't have to pick up the phone or worse keep pushing buttons taking my eyes off the road trying to get the dang Bluetooth to work (seems a little dangerous) . Also trying to fix the instrument cluster so it does not default to factory settings every time. Each time I have to reset my brightness, Hud brightness and menu. Going to wear the steering buttons out. Geez ford Get some software testers and debug this stuff before you roll it off the line.

Hello Trevor- I have a 2023 Superduty too. I have the same exact issue. No error codes so no solution. Troubleshooting is a skill not obtained by Dealerships any longer. I have taken the truck in 6 times (about a week each time). Each time they just performed Software updates. The last time they replaced the user interface and the issue actually is worse. Of course they cannot duplicate the issue at the dealership somehow and blame my phone. However, it occurs with multiple phones I use. I believe it is a short somewhere in the system grounding but they have not followed up on that and just look at me like I am stupid since there are no error codes coming up. I don't have a solution but am going to ask them to remove the wiring harness they installed for the FORDPASS app. Huge harness that I think screwed things up. We will see.
