I would like to order a 2024 F250 but one of my requirements is adaptive cruise control. According to Ford's website this feature is available in 2024 super duty trucks. When opening the configurator you get this message: "due to a combination of high demand and global supply-chain constraints, not all models and trims or features are available to order". Then when you try to configure a truck the ACC option is not offered -- you can't configure the truck with the feature. Is this feature not being offered for configuration because of "supply chain issues"? Really? Any insight into this?
Yes, they will leave the option out if it is not currently available, also depends on trim level as to whether it is available, not every trim is available with it.
i checked both lariat and platinum and it's not available. this is really bad. ford is going to loose a lot sales if they can't sell trucks that are properly configured.
They had basically the same disclaimer when I ordered my 2020 before the China Flu, I remember a few people
getting units backed up as there was a shortage of a few things in certain combinations.
Have you driven a vehicle with adaptive cruise ? I have a vehicle with it and hate it so much I rarely use it.

Included with 2024 Lariat ultimate pkg and standard on 2024 King Ranch, Platinum and Limited. I believe, it was a stand alone option for 2022 with the Lariat ultimate pkg.
It's a great feature, with a little learning curve, Actually makes you pay more attention to traffic ahead.. You just need to learn when to override it, with just slight accelerator pressure at times, so truck does not slow down unnecessarily. I always run mine at full gap distance to the vehicle ahead

Yes, I had a 2022 Lariat Ultimate that I did not order the ACC with. I also didn't order it on my 2023 450 Lariat, but am expecting it to be on my 2024 KR 450....if it ever gets built.
I just received my new 2024 King Ranch F250 in February. The Adaptive Cruise Control has worked maybe 5 times; 90% of the time it simply doesn't work. I get the message "Adaptive Cruise Control Not Available." I use my truck to haul horses and really need cruise control for long hauls. I took it back to the dealer and they were able to see through their system that the problem existed with the sensors even prior to when I took delivery. They said that Ford told them all they were permitted to do was reset the sensors/codes and send me on my way. I got back on the freeway from the dealership and immediately it didn't work. I've tried several times over the last two weeks and it only came on once, randomly, for a short period of time, but then I couldn't get it to work again. Also only have random luck with the lane keeping system (which is less important, but I'm wondering if it's related). This is my 4th Ford truck over the last three decades. I've never had issues with cruise control before.
