TIA!! ok guys....has anyone been successful in doing the process, that's in the owners manual, to cancel the seat belt reminder chime? I've tried it numerous times with zero success. thx again, and yes I'm religious about using my seat belt when I'm on the road
I don’t mind the chime but God I HATE the seat belt graphic that shows up on the cluster screen in the cowl every time I start the truck. Ever time I dismiss it I have to click around to get back to the view I like.

FORSCAN is your friend, completely deleted it on mine.
Yes, see post 2261 in FORSCAN thread. I also have a post at 2301, clarifying (in general), the "checksum" column

Thanks everyone. After 'kry226', posted yesterday, I went searching for the FORSCAN thread and found those posts. I ordered my OBDLink EX yesterday, and have to start trying to figure out how to use FORSCAN. Been reading about it off and on, but get overwhelmed trying to follow what to do. I'm going to have to spend some serious time this weekend, trying to understand how to use it.
Put parking brake on (make sure all doors are closed)
turn ignition on, but don't start your truck
Wait until your AIRBAG light (on a cluster) goes out
(within 30 seconds) buckle up and unbundle 3 times, buckle and unbuckle 4th time to confirm
DA
Yup - I think this is spot on. The owners manual is wrong. And the only other note, you have to do each seat individually. I thought, in my 2017, I did it once, from the driver's seat, and it turned off the chime for all 6 buckles. Not so in this 2023.

Is it just the chime or does it also kill the annoying center cluster notification?
