Considering that last year the first 2023's didn't start coming out till maybe April? And they had all sorts of shutdowns, constraints, quality concerns, so why should 2024 be any better? Throw a strike on top of everything else and I'm thinking maybe after the first of the year at best. I see people showing that trucks are being scheduled in October. I hope things go better but Ford can't seem to get out of its on way
Funny thing, but I had a date of Oct 23, and then it was updated to Oct 9 on Sept 26.
Anything can happen, but so far the strike has not hit the Super Duty line and it looks like Ford is faring better than the other 2, so it may not.

Does the Order ID have any bearing on our place in line? Mike is below 600. Also, what trim level and options did you get? I assume the same applies...the lower the trim level the more likely we are to get them sooner.
I was originally scheduled for this week but got moved to week of the 16th. Some still have a 24 MY scheduled for next week (oct 9). My best guess is that they are finishing the 23's this week and will start the 24's next week.
I had a 24 scheduled for the week of 10/2. But that one was moved back to week of 10/16. I saw some people say their 23's got pushed back to week of 10/2. So i'm guessing that either this week or next week they will balance out and will be the end of the 23's. I also have a 24 scheduled for week of 10/9. So we will see if that holds true. Both trucks are identical, except the one that was bumped back to the week of 10/16 has max recline. Both 450's. The one that was moved to 10/16 has an earlier vin than the other one. Guess i don't know if they would build a later vin first or not. Which is why i think next week could be the last week of the 23's. And then start production the week of 10/16.
I haven't been able to pull a window sticker for either of the two trucks yet. But tonight, the tracker isn't working for the truck that's supposed to be built the week of 10/9.

Order number in the low 200 range.
KR 7.3 with 5th wheel prep, spray on bedliner, carpet delete and max recline. I also have not seen anything about Multi Contour delete, so I think for '24 we might get a 'complete' truck.
I have to assume:
1) That they have parts built up/the supply chain caught up for the high levels, since they weren't actually building many of those trucks in '23.
2) They want to maximize profits during the strike.
But both are assumptions, without anything to really back it up. And, until it is built everything is still in question.

Order number has absolutely nothing to do with when you will be scheduled. Order number is just a random number the dealer assigns to the order. You could be order 1 or 9999 and it won't matter. Priority code and allocations are what means everything. Along with the sales manager knowing how to manage their order banks.

23 MY was a launch of a new generation of super duties. This requires programming robots, installing stamping dies and pretty much redesigning the assembly line. 24s are basically 23s with a few minor changes. This transition will be smoother.
