I have not been on here for a while. I'm looking to buy an extended warranty for my 22 F350 and would like to know the names of dealers with the best prices at this time. Thanks in advance.
What’s the specs on your truck (engine, 4x4 vs 2wd, etc)
and what warranty are you looking into?
if I plan on keeping my truck for a long time I’ve been considering the diesel care warranty that would cover everything diesel related until 200,000 miles. Haven’t decided yet though.
Make sure the warranty can be cashed in for repairs
in my locale, you can’t get ford warranty apts …they book you 90 days out, 14 days prior they res here for another 90 days out…on the third reschedule they tell you your going on the someday list…someday they’ll call you…which they never do.
my 8yr/125k ford extended warranty is not worth the paper it’s written on.

if they’re unable to get a vehicle in for warranty work is that grounds for lemon law?
I have not run the numbers myself, but I read somewhere that Granger's price is better.
Flood starts with the basic warranty, and then you can add options, and that doing so gets expensive. I do not think they are gouging anyone, it is merely how the plan is set up.
Make sure you check for things like deductible, rental, etc., and compare apples to apples before commiitting.
Just bought my wife a new Edge. For the first time ever, when the dealer was trying the up-sell the purchase with a Ford ESP, i told them I'm interested, but only if they could match the online price. The dealer was well aware of the Flood Ford prices, and matched that price! Maybe some dealers are finally getting a clue?
I've always gone w/ Granger. Easy to work with, always accessible. If the price is reasonably close I'd go w/ Granger. They are even a posting member of this forum.
well, if the story in the post that I responded to is accurate, I can say I’d explore what my state has to offer
ive never personally dealt with that and don’t know anyone who has but if I ever came to that bridge it would be the last day I drove a Ford
until that day I won’t stress but that would probably qualify as the last straw for me if they were completely incapable of fixing my truck under warranty
we pay a lot of money for a truck that needs to do a job and if they can’t support a faulty product in a reasonable time I don’t have any allegiance to ford to stick around for that

Flood has it set up no different than Granger. They all have it structured the same. You pick a plan, deductible and the add ons. The only difference used to be that Flood(and some others) were $100 over cost, and Granger was $50 over, but I haven't checked recently. Flood also might have changed to requiring a certain payment method to get their lowest price.
I went with neither because I wanted the 0% financing. This was almost 2 years ago, paid the exact same price as Flood, but also included 0% financing for 2 years.
