Hsve had her about 5 months and was getting tired of the smudges by the door handle. So a bath and a fill wax job was in order. I also waxed the rims due to be painted black.
The one and only thing I don’t like about having a truck is how long it takes to detail. I just did mine this weekend and it’s pretty when it shines but damn does it take forever!

Turtle wax Seal and Shine can be your best friend. Takes about 30 minutes to seal my trucks paint and it still looks like new. Clay bar once a year. Picture doesn't do the truck any justice.

That has been my paint protection of choice too. Much easier, longer lasting, and durable than a traditional wax. Your truck is evidence that it works. The exterior wash, including applying the seal and shine, takes me 3+ hours.
OP,
Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

is this the product?
I haven’t used anything other than carnauba wash/wax on my new truck and would like to find something good to use. One review I saw on the turtle wax seal n shine was that it’s a great durable coating but can be streaky on darker paints if you’re not careful.
I haven't used a "wax" in over 30 years. I was taught that paint needs to breathe. I use a "glaze" meguiers brand . it's definitely not a long lasting but in my opinion the paint keeps a deep look
her are a couple pics of my other vehicles that have been glazed
2005 f150. Never waxed
and my 1956 ford f100. The paint was sprayed in December 1993 so almost 30 years! It's never been touched up and still looks fantastic. Again never waxed

I really like their Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray. Incredible shine and water beading. Simple and quick to apply.

That's it... Don't own any black vehicles, but if it leaves any streaks, just simply wipe a wet micro fiber towel over them and then wipe to polish.

I have been using it for some time now and could see that being more noticeable on black. I think it mostly comes from over applying it (using too much) and isn't unique to the TW sealant. It only takes a small amount to cover an entire panel. I've also heard humidity can have an effect on it. I haven't tried the damp towel method for streak removal, I believe that might be noted in the instructions and I hear it works.
