I have a 2021 F-250 Lariat, CC, Short Bed. 7.3 Godzilla. Heaviest trailer I pull is 8000 dry travel trailer. However, I don’t like the squat I get from it. Thinking about air bags for the adjustability. Any thoughts on brand? I’m familiar with AirLift.
I used Firestone Ride Rite bags for years, but had to switch to Airlift on my 2022 because Firestone didn’t offer one to fit this truck. I have had good experience with both. Like you, I initially bought them to level out the truck when loaded, but soon learned that it made the entire towing experience significantly better.
I used RC airbags: Air Spring Kit | Ford Super Duty 4WD (2017-2022) | Rough Country on 2022 Tremor. I like the mounting bracket better than other bags. They fit well with some minor tweaks. I also used the plastic RC lower mounting cups so the bags can flex more offroad or when on a lift.
This truck is strictly for towing, I have a Rubicon for off-road, lol! I like the internal bump stop on the airlift, and the available compressor. And they seem a little more well known in my area than the Firestone. Leveling it out is primary goal, but I’m certainly happy if I get a little smoother and less sway in the deal too. Never had airbags but I have had Timbrens on other trucks.
Ready Lift with LogIQ HD compressor on my ‘22 F350. Twin inline bags that mount directly over the leaf springs instead of offset like most single bags. I have Air Lift on my farm truck and hate them. Damn thing is like a basketball. I have a ‘24 ordered for my work truck and the Ready Lift bags and LogIQ are already in the shop waiting
Ready Lift is pricey but it doesn’t bounce. Also, if you have factory overload spring, it has to be removed for the Ready Lift install. Not hard to do

Do the overload springs go back on after installing the bags?
No. The Ready Lift bags mount, mounts directly to the leaf spring pack and to the frame at the top. The bags are essentially replacing the overload spring
For my '22 F-350 SCLB 6.7L with snowplow/camper pkg, I bought the Air Lift 7500XL and a generic eBay on-board air compressor and tank kit. I'll be using a 1/4" regulator to feed air to the bags so that I can adjust as needed to level the truck when towing or hauling a heavy load. I pull a 31' toy hauler with 1,600lbs+ tongue load and 11,400lbs GVWR.
Currently, when I tow in the dark to get an early start, I get bright-lighted by about half the vehicles that I pass. Of course, they don't like my Phillips LED converted headlights from Headlight Experts, but they are within legal limits. It's just the squat causing the temporary misalignment. I do plan to upgrade to the Bilstein 5100 shocks and stabilizer as well.
I'm slow to getting this done due to back issues and cataracts. Therapy helped the back and my second eye gets a new lens on the 5th. I'm looking forward to projects all winter long!
32 foot enclosed trailer with two 4 seat Polaris RZR’s, gear, tools etc. I have 65 psi in the bags and it is level. Towed like it was not even back there
Raven350, that is the twin to my truck too, lol! I’m adding the ReadyAir to my research list. I like the remote control/compressor on the AirLift, looks like the same function available on ReadyAir too.

I have the Ready Lift compressor. Went with the HD 2-channel so I can have a tank. I really like it. 2-channel allows for independent psi adjustments (RH or LH) or link them together via the app and air or deflate simultaneously.
Nice trucks and Black is just handsome 😎. BTM……Black Trucks Matter
Mine is actually not black, it is Antimatter Blue. Sapphire blue in direct sun, black as Darth Vader otherwise. Added the Blackout Package on special order, and it is truly the Ford that Dale Earnhardt would have driven, lol.
Checking on the Ready Air. However, I just got a $250 coupon from a local customizer, but they only carry AirLift, so…..
If you're getting enough squat from an 8k travel trailer that you're considering bags, then I would suggest there's something wrong with your truck, since you should also be running a good WDH system. I have pulled a LOT of different trailers of varying weights over the years, and have NEVER added airbags to any of them. At most I've had 1-2" of squat in any truck I've ever owned, including my newest one, and it won't be getting bags either.
Bags mask any problems you might be having. They are NOT a solution, but rather a band-aid.
