The PA Chapter's "Dog Days" August 2023 Chat and B/S Thread
August already. Seems like yesterday was April. A busy construction season has kept me far too busy and away from fun stuff but I do try. Truck Nationals happens this weekend in Carlisle and that will wrap up big northeast events that I know of. And it's back to the drawing board to try for next year in my world.
Getting a jump on the new month - you know what to do so do it.
Happy August everyone! Time to get those summer activities wrapped up. I need a few more months of boating before I wrap up the year….though I need to start putting the sled motor back together.
I'm taking on a rather weird challenge - polishing the shocks going on the OBS. Yes, I've (tried to) convince myself that it will never be a show truck - but, with the way things are going at work this kind of task is great for my sanity. Plug in my earphones, and just lose myself in the process. Here's a mid-sanding shot (no, not doing this in my office...). 220 grit, then 400, 600, and 800. I need 1000 and 1500 paper before I go to the rouge wheels.
