Auxiliary Tank

Newb question! Trying to get the right tank for my 1974 f250 Does this tank have the EEC? I ordered what I thought was the right tank and if didn’t have the extra hole by the filler hole. Trying to make sure I order the right tank this time LOL! One step forward two steps back.

Pretty positive hat hole is for the vent tube that runs next to your filler hose, never had a truck with the mid ship tank but the evap hoses aren't that big.

The hole is for the fuel vapor valve used with the Evaporative Emission system (abbrev: Evap/Em): Hose runs from the nipple on the valve to the charcoal canister.

EEC is the abbrev for the Electronic Engine Control system (aka on board computer). The only 1970's vehicles that had it: 1979 LTD/Grand Marquis 351W sold new in CA

It's not a hole for a vent hose, see post #4.

Now I gotta find the valve. The one that was in the old tank is definitely not gonna work.
