1993 f150 5.0 bucking and stalling

1993 f150 5.0 bucking and stalling
1993 5.0 , auto trans, dual tanks. f150 bucks and stalls out , I have been scratching my head on this for so long. Truck starts up, idles great , but after driving for a few minutes check engine light comes on and will stutter, if you let off , or throttle all the way it will stop, it will go about three miles before it bucks and shakes , then will stall out and die. Won't restart and cranks over kinda slow. If you let it sit it will start right back up.
I know not the throw parts at it , but ive replaced the tps , coolant temp sensor , icm, fuel filter and coil and distributor.
sorry for the long post boys but i just cant figure this out.

These problems are usually pretty simple to solve with a multimeter and a paperclip. First thing to do is to pull the trouble codes.

Is it getting hot? That will cause what you have described.
