I have a 1999 f350 and it is driving me nuts. The top o ring on injectors 2, 4, and 6 refuse to seal. I've tried everything I can think of and nothing has worked. Has anyone else had this issue?
In addition to the others’ questions.... What makes you think they ‘won’t seal’?
I just tried installing an injector from UDP and the stupid thing was blowing oil out of the top and would not build ICP. The external o-rings were fine. I guess the poppet valve was allowing oil to leak up to the solenoid. I had this happen with other injectors from this company too. Most ‘reman’ injectors are garbage. Stick with Bitterroot Diesel for good ones.
Orings were installed correctly, I made sure the threads were cleared and bolts weren't stretched. I put three different injectors in and the new ones are no longer leaking. They were leaking where the injector meets the head as best I could tell. It's fixed now thankfully.

Thats what was wrong with the crappy injectors I recently installed. I replaced one and got truck to build ICP and run, but 400miles later it’s running like ****. I expect more are having internal issues. Fresh BDP 160/0’s are on the way!!!

Who supplied"the crappy injectors I recently installed."?

They were rebuilt by Unlimited Diesel Performance. I ended up not using them on a project a few years ago and figured I’d just use them now on my own truck since I will never do business with that company again and would not put them in a customers truck. One did not work right out of the box and the others run so bad after 400mi I’m not going to drive the truck with them anymore.
Basically exactly why I stopped using UDP in the first place. Not sure why I thought I’d get lucky??
To be fair, some of the UDP injectors I installed worked OK and these were ‘stock’ AD/AE so they should have been the easiest to make right.....
I fell for that too... They were quick to send out 1 or 2 injectors if they didn’t run right on install, but after that it’s hard to get so much as a return email after they tell you something else is the problem.
