New 450 cab and chassis work truck. Flatbed not installed yet. Sitting in our equipment yard awaiting completion. Random alarm going off. Afraid of it happening late at night and irritate the neighbors until someone arrives for work the next day. Or on a job site or in traffic. Wherever.
I know about moths, rodents, setting off interior or hood latch switch, etc. Or just setting perimeter on the way out. To me this is all BS and unacceptable. I bought this truck and Ford should not have the last word in its security. I have Forscan but I don't see a disable in build codes.
Has anyone successfully disabled the alarm without affecting other functions?
