considering the new Bronco
Hi all,
I'm late to the customer wait list, as in I'm not officially on any list. Anyone know the chances of ordering a 2023 Raptor? I see the latest news release says those with reservations can place orders now for the Bronco. But newcomers can order "next year". Is there more to the story?

Log this as the dumbest question posted in the past couple years. This vehicle is so hot dealers are buying up inventory on BaT. I did get to test drive a 2D Wildtrack yesterday. So I guessthat was about as close as I'll get to one for a couple years.

Not necessarily, someone is bound to over extend themselves and need a quick sell off. People who have bought them paid far too much for them.

Man, I don't think it's a dumb question at a time when Ford is transitioning its policies and manufacturing schedules (in favor of emptying out the wait list versus accepting new builds from dealers). It IS confusing and I write about this stuff every day. But yeah, you ended up answering your own question, unless you buy used, it's going to remain hard to get one for at least the next year, probably two.

I know where you can get a 2 door Badlands Sasquatch hardtop auto in the Cyber Orange color... 🤦♂️ they mis-ordered mine with an auto instead of a manual, so I have to wait AGAIN... supposed to be delivered to the stealership in the next week or 2.

Funny, this dealership has a 2d manual Badlands on hand. It's black on black. Nice option list, not Sasquatch.

The New Blue Oval City (Memphis Tn area) will be producing Lightning trucks, and is rumored to have plans to produce "another vehicle", some speculate that it may be an EV version of the bronco-wouldn't that be nice. If they go with the new lighter Solid State batteries, that should be available in 2025, the weight of the 4x4 should be doable. Don't know, but I've heard this rumor several times. Rumors are fun.

Thanks, but if I'm a gonna get one, I'm getting the Sasquatch Pkg. and my '02 F350 is black... I don't want another black vehicle!

After waiting 23 months for my reservation dated 7/19/2020 I couldn't be happier with my Bronco it's exactly how I ordered it.

A dealer close to me has a Cyber Orange 4dr Wildtrak Sasquatch that's been sitting on the lot for about a month now. I believe MSPR is around $61k but I'm not sure what they are selling it for, they have a 2dr First edition in the showroom that they are asking an insane price for so that could be why the Wildtrak is still sitting on the lot. The Wildtrak has the green special order window sticker so either the original buyer backed out or the dealer used a phantom buyer to get the order in.

I went down Monday eve and looked at and test drove "mine" that was ordered wrong, have to say, I was pleased with everything EXCEPT the auto.
I'm supposed to be 1st on the 2023 order list... we'll see, I did explain my frustrations to the owner, and he assured me he will make it right.
