We moved my daughter's horse to a different facility today, the old one is for sale. While she was making sure Po (Polaris, her horse, I call him Eddie) was comfortable I took a walk around and found this. Yes, It's a Mack, and very cool looking.
Takes me back to my early teens when my buddy's old man drove a Mack like that for Darling Co. in Cincinnati. Something about staring up that big grille at the dog on top.
IMO, there is nothing cooler for classic "big" trucks than an old Mack. They are just beautiful designs. I'm also a fan of the classic Autocar rigs, but in a more "utilitarian" way. Definitely not as pretty as the Macks of the same era.
NJ stopped using the blue license plates in 1992. There’s no sticker indicating the last year the reg was renewed, but obviously the truck has been sitting there a long time.
