Serpentine Belt Noise 2007 super duty 6.0

Serpentine Belt Noise 2007 super duty 6.0
Hey boys,
New to the forum and decided to come here and ask something about a clicking noise I can hear from my serp belt.
I just replaced the steering pump, has a rather new tensioner pulley I believe because I found an old on in my cab from the prev owner and the current one seems to be in good condition.
After replacing the pump, 2 days later I can hear a violent slapping/clicking coming from where the belt mounts to the fan pulley (sliding on and of making the clicking noise)....eventually shredding 1/4 of my belt off from the ridge on the fan pulley.
Im fairly mechanically inclined and cant quite find a single problem with any of the pulleys. There is about 1/8 to 1/4 inches of lateral play in the steering pump pulley, but seems to be about the same as my other f250 (which has no problem)
If there is any input you guys can give me about why in the hell my belt is popping on and off the fan pulley it would be greatly appreciated.
