I just bought a 1962 Ford F100 Flare Side. I imagine it will be a couple year project, but I am going to post some pictures from time to time and also will probably post a bunch of questions.
Looking forward to seeing your work.
I have a 1963 that I've been working for a little over a year. Had to replace front cab mounts, some of the floor and custom build quite a bit of the metal in that area that could not be purchased.
Welcome to FTE, chadley58! I have a '62 "wrongbed" (Styleside) that I'm finally getting into the full resto on after retiring from the USMC. I've done some basic stuff that may be of some help (complete drum brake job with new master cylinder, major tune up, carb rebuild, oil pan remove and reseal, oil drive shaft recovery, etc) but this forum is chock full of smart folks with great experience and ideas. I rely on it for every phase SusieQ's rebirth. Good luck!
