I was hoping to replace the single wheel I currently have with some duallys but was just told the front hubs are configured differently at factory on single and duel rear wheel. Never heard that before but then i've never owned a dually either. I have attached some pics of what is on my truck. It certainly appears there is room for duals in the back, but before I purchase anything I figured id ask. The story I got when I bought the truck was the guy had dually on it in the past but no longer has the rims when I bought the truck.
I chatted with a buddy of mine and he looked at his set-up and sent me a few pics. Do these bolt right up to a standard hub/drum, or do I need anything special, he has different drums than mine
I hope you get some clear conclusive answer(s) to your conversion question.
I always wonderedwhat was different on the front hub between F100 & F350 two wheel drive straight front axle 1961-1964.
