1946 Ford F6 vin decode

Hey y'all! Recently purchased a '46 F6 and am trying to get information on the vin. On the title is..1GT304656 but can't find info on it..any information would be appreciated..Thanks in advance and God Bless y'all

Your title number is your serial number and doesn't tell much.
1 - '46
G - 6 cyl
T - Truck
304656 is your running serial number that would have been stamped on the bellhousing.

In order to help you with your online searches it's important to understand there was no F6 designation until 1948. Your truck was just called a 2 ton truck.
