Smile 1947 Panel Delivery

Hi, new guy here! Still learning to get around this site. have not figured out how to post pictures yet but will soon. going to be chopping up this very rare 1947 Panel Delivery ambulance conversion to fit on a 4x4 dually chassis, the conversion added a 36" strech to the body, I'll shorten that to fit the chassis while keeping the rear suicide doors. Should make for a rather unusual custom! The rest of this very complete truck will be up for sale, including the two bucket seats, I'm told they are very rare! Still in the planning (dreaming) stage as my small shop is full of customer restorations now. Mine will have to sit and continue to rot for a short while!

ohio47,
Welcome! Sounds like a project for sure. If you do body work then maybe not so much as for someone like me. That would be huge!
I post pictures from imgur, probably lots of ways to do it.
Try to keep that rot to a minimum while you wait!
Over on the Ford Barn Forum they just had a post about Ford Panel trucks. Lots of neat features on those, and it mentioned the bucket seats. I am sure there are some folks that might be interested in parts too.
Regards,
Chris

Shipper brought me a Christmas present

Not much left of her, but going to save her

The body will be modified to fit the 94 dually beside it
