Need 46-47 Front Shock Bracket and Front Suspension Diagram

Hi-

My mechanic has my shop manual. Anyone have a drawing of the front suspension for a 46-47 1/2 Ton Pickup they could share. Much appreciated.

I also need the bracket that the front shocks attach to. I only have one and need the other. Attached photo shows what I need.

I'm in Southern California.

Thanks, Tom

Your shock bracket is a conversion piece to replace the factory Houdaille shocks, on the cars. They bolted up to the frame, in place of the original shock. To make them work on the trucks the inner fender needs to be modified for clearance. There was two different lengths available, so check that when you locate some. They pop up from time to time. Seems I've seen them available from one of the parts venders but, don't recall where.

Thanks Rust Wrangler. Very helpful info and diagram. Can you share a diagram of where the stock shocks connect up in the front suspention?

Thanks!
