I’m looking for a few odd ball and knick knack parts for my Excursion. I used to live in the northern part of the state a while and know about Jordan Auto Parts and Pick Up City in the Morgantown/Fairmont/Clarksburg area. I currently live near Charleston and dealt with Givens in Sissonville a long while ago. However, I contacted Rasco and they said they had a few Excursions for me to pull parts from. Has anybody here dealt with Rasco and have anything to say about them? They seemed friendly and helpful over the phone. Like I said I’m just looking for a friendly salvage yard that would let me inspect and pull my own parts while not looking at me like I’m going to try and make off with something. 🙄 Any advice or leads on anybody parting one out close by is appreciated! Thanks and have a good one!
I know nothing of salvage yards, over that way, but, I would remind you, your truck is based upon the Super Duty series. Most things that fit the SD will fit yours.
J&J on Route 21 as you leave Charleston headed north to Sissonville. I think most of the old yard in Sissonville and Wolfe Pen are closed. I haven't been there for years after retiring. I have never herd of Rasco but that isn't a surprise with me. I can not remember the name of the yard/store in Ghent on the southern end of the Turnpike. I used to order new and used parts from him. you may do an internet search for that area.
I swung by J&J today. They had a black Excursion in their yard. Unfortunately they were closed. I’m guessing due to deer season or the holiday week. So hopefully I can get in there soon and speak with them. I also have my fingers crossed it’s a salvage vehicle because it was in pretty fair shape from what I could tell.
