2002 Excursion Antenna

I recently purchased a 2002 Excursion and am trying to figure out how to lower the antenna so I can get it to fit into my garage. I didn't see anything in the manual about it.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

The antenna doesn't collapse or telescope on cars these days. In fact cars now have them integrated into their windshields. The Ex is kind of a throw for even having a post at all.
I put a short rubber duckee on mine. Radio works fine.

Just cut it to the length you need it to be.

My wife's touches the header of the garage door going in and out...hasn't been a problem in the 18 years we've owned it.
