I figured I would do a detail on mine about a month ago. I washed it then clay barred it, then moved on to a single stage paint correction followed by a good coat of wax. After the first two hours I was beat. It took almost five hours to complete the entire job. Today it is just as dirty as it was the day I decided to do all the detailing, this time I am drinking a beer and thinking it is a lot cooler in the house then the garage.

I’m about 40 now, but I’ve been OCD about keeping my vehicles clean since I was 16. Washing and polishing religiously. One thing I discovered during Covid was that a quick polishing nearly every wash job (every week or two depending on season and weather) with our Milwaukee buffer and either an express wax or a normal polish makes the finish amazing, and keeps it that way. It makes dirt and bugs come off with ease all year round. And since I don’t have any real pastimes like sports or hunting, I’ve found that I get my relaxation and alone time (wife and 4 daughters in the house lol) to recharge my batteries doing this. I can wash/dry/polish in about 1.5 hours total. Love it. 2019 with 26,000 miles and it’s absolutely flawless

That's impressive, I can't do an exterior wash, dry and spray sealant application in less than 3 hrs. on my beast. It's also a 2019 so I've had plenty of washes to try. If I were to clay bar and polish, easily another 2 hours.

Your truck looks great, OP. I must say that after 2 black SD's the current white one is easier to clean. Being I'm an old man of 63 it is easy for me to become unmotivated so sometimes a 4 hour job becomes 2 days. This generally happens after beer is introduced to the process prematurely. Gives me a case of the f-it's sometimes.
