Just wondering how full of crap the salesman is or not because let's face it, they lie. He told me if I order a hard top now it WILL be a '22 and I should have it first quarter of 2022. He's saying would arrive likely January or February.
He says Ford is switching vendors for the hard tops.
Also says there are no incentives, rebates or deals at all. All true? They are trying to bone me on my trade hence the doubt.
Considering all MY21 orders (except the remaining First Editions) that haven't started are getting pushed to MY22 due to the hard top issues, I would strongly question that you will get yours in Jan or Feb. I wouldn't count on it.
I haven't read if Ford is switching vendors of the hard top. I've only read that they'll be replacing every one delivered and they'll be using the new design for production.
Considering the popularity and back log of orders, Ford has no reason or need to offer incentives or rebates on the Bronco. I have a PCO and Bronco is excluded. Sadly there's multiple examples of dealers adding $10k-$20k "dealer fee" because somebody will pay it to get one.
The only time a dealer will give you a good price on your trade-in is if they cut into the margin on the new vehicle, and that ain't happening on Broncos. Your best route is to sell it yourself or try to get the dealer to match an offer from a place like CarMax.
Well, we shall see. I'll let everyone know how the process goes with no B.S. order placed on Friday.
And I misunderstoodthe salesman about the top manufacturer, Webasto. They are building a second plant in the Detroit area for Webasto to build tops. They are also building a second Ranger/Bronco plant to try and keep up with demand.
The top issue is odd as I think the vendor has made Jeep tops for years...

Have you been on the Bronco6G forum? I follow them on FB and it seems to have alot of up-to-date info. I saw one post about Ford getting another supplier for the MIC tops. I ordered my Big Bend 2DR a few months ago and my dealer said it would probably be spring or summer of 2022.
My daughter and I gave up on the Bronco because of all the dealer non-sense. Then of course there's all the craziness on Ebay. I just would like to know who is it that is willing to pay 100,000$ for a 1st edition Ford Ranger?, because just like the 78 was a really short F150 the 6G is a really short Ranger. My daughter has moved on and purchased a Macan Turbo.

No I have snooped on there a bit after searching about the top issues. Didn't know they were on FB I'll find and follow.

Somebody just paid like 84k for the big bend demo 4 Dr a neighboring dealer had.
A good friend of mine had a good point; give people soft tops until the hard tops get sorted out and then give them the hard top. Hell I'd even pay like $500 for a soft top or whatever to have both.. give them at cost! Costly for Ford but it puts Broncos on the road!
Well to update it took 8 months. It has arrived and offloaded the train. Pick it up next week we'll do a full review video on it. I have been assured no features were deleted...
I picked up my Big Bend 2DR back on March 31st and have loved it! The 2DR with the 2.7L will really get up and go, especially in Sport Mode. I think you will like it! Mine took 9 months from first order to arrival.
Piecing together an episode that will be up thos weekend. Our dealer experience was decent-ish i would say. They did try to charge us the full 2022 MSRP like they forgot about the deal we had in place, weasels. I had to remind them and whip out original paperwork.
