Ospho and/or Corroseal

In the process of cleaning the frame on my 65 F100 and curious if any members are familiar with either metal treatment solutions??

Comments and/or suggestions appreciated.

I am familiar with Ospho acid as I have used it on my truck ir its 4 year cab off frame rebuild.
I used it on the frame & body panels that had rust.
Spray it on let it turn black, wipe it off with a damp towel on panels and let it dry before doing anything to the panels.
On the frame I let it sit for a few days then hosed it off, used shop air to blow it dry and let it sit again a few days in the sun before spray painting the frame with TSC black equipment paint.
Dont have any good pictures of the frame but the white is the acid that dried and did not have rust to fight. The frame only had surface rust.

Frame painted

ospho is what i use. spray on and when it turns black rust is converted. i did a test panel on a rusty piece of steel diamond plate around 15 years ago. the 6 inch circle is still black with absolutely no signs of rust. while the rest of the plate is rust red.
i use it on frames, and snow plows

Recent experiment using Ospho, not that the fasteners are usable but I can at least determine size and thread count in ordering replacements. Prompt delivery on the Corroseal looking forward to experimenting?
Sprayed frame firewall forward with engine installed using steel wool to scrub surface, seems to be working fairly well, considering lifting engine to finish except for the front is on blocks,

For nuts & bolts I would use Evap a rust I think it's called think I got it at Auto Zone in a gray or silver jug.

The frame & body is what I used the acid on.

I thank you for the info, search and found there's a product Evapo Rust that is about half the cost of the Ospho and appears many of the auto parts stores carry the product to include Home Depot definitely give it a try.

Been sprimenting; purchased small container of Evapo Rust and compared with Aspho and and also a container of vinegar, hands down the Evapo came out best for my purposes. I be thankin U

I tried Corroseal on the front frame of my '93 when fixing it up after a small accident. It seamed to go on fine, but hasn't held up as well as I would have liked, especially on the core support. I thought I had cleaned the parts pretty well, let the Corroseal dry for whatever it said, and topcoated with Rustoleum. Rust is coming back....

Have not tried Ospho, I probably should have used that instead...
For the back of the frame I used chassis saver with rustoleum topcoat and its been holding up better.
