F-Series falls to 3rd place for 2021Q2
The chip shortage and all those stockpiled trucks led to a very interesting sales result for the 2nd quarter. Both Silverado and Ram passed the F-Series for the first time ever. Ford's lead for the year is less than 50,000 units over Ram.
Quarterly sales:
Silverado (1500-6500): 164,731 (+34.5%)
Ram (1500-5500): 164,232 (+40%)
F-Series (150-600): 66,302 (April, +31.8%) + 46,260 (May, -29.2%) + 45,673 (June, -29.9%) = 158,235
2021 year-to-date:
F-Series (150-600): 362,032 (-1.5%)
Ram (1500-5500): 313,068 (+27%)
Silverado (1500-6500): 291,322 (+9.0%)
Quarterly sales:
Silverado (1500-6500): 164,731 (+34.5%)
Ram (1500-5500): 164,232 (+40%)

An article popped up yesterday on my google news feed stating that Ford is getting a huge shipment of chips and should start shipping F-150's very soon. It also alludes that Ford's top brass is predicting that everything will be back to normal by the fall.
