Wheel or rim fit for 2002 Crown Vic

Will 16 inch rims from a 2002 Ford Explorer work on a 2009 Crown Vic? It came with 17 inch rims. Thanks

If the hole pattern is the same I don't know why not.

Be careful with that because there may be brake calliper and hub size clearance issues!

The hub size is the same. I measured the distance from the wheel to the brake caliper with the 17 inch wheel and there is about an inch of clearance. So if a 16 inch wheel is a half inch smaller on one side it should work. I am trying to see if anyone has actually used the 16 inch explorer on a CV IFS. Thanks
