New (dual) f150 owner from Wisconsin
I just picked up a 1976 f 150 4x4 which is why I'm joining. I'm going to need the existing knowledge in the forums to work out some stuff with the truck!
I've owned a 2015 f 150 super crew 4x4 2.7 for the past couple years. We tow a camper with it and work it pretty hard on our property, love it so far! I'll hit 98k on the way home from the campground this weekend.
In the past I've owned several f 150's and an f 100, but they were all 80's and 70's, as well as a couple rangers from 1996-2000. At the time (I was young) they were all I could afford to drive, and they were junkers. This time I bought an old one to have fun with and I'm looking forward to having it around to cruise, but right now it's also a bit of a junker.
The other big thing I hope to maybe get from the forum is parts. Mainly, I need a BOX for that 76 long bed f 150! I'm finding that they're hard to come by, at least up here in the rust belt.
Thanks in advance to everyone for advice (already written and future) since there is a lot of it on this forum

Thanks for the info! I paid good money to get one from Kansas. Very little rust but the interior is completely gone, it needs a lot of steering work and it leaks an incredible amount of oil. But I agree, haven't seen one with this little rust in a long time that hasn't been restored. Even the one my grandpa had when I was a little kid was much further gone than this one. My 2015 has more rust on the frame than my 76 does!
Welcome aboard!
I'd do that for sure! Interested?

That's a good idea, though. I'll post it and see what bites I get. Thanks
