I'll admit I didn't look which I'm now shocked at myself but do all 6.7l powerstroke have transmission coolers? This one is a xl so pretty basic. It did have the trailer brake controller so I'm certain it does but now I'm second guessing myself.
I can't imagine any powerstroke not having one but now I'm a little concerned.

Thanks in advance!
Check out that 2nd video I posted on fritz's video thread. That guy Don does a trans flush and disconnects the return line from the cooler. It's on the passenger side I believe.

I did a transmission flush on my old Chevy 5.3 so I'm kind of familiar with that process. They are fixing the upper oil pan so I'm wondering if the transmission fluid is going to be replaced with that process. I thought I read somewhere that the transmission has to be removed to get to it but I'm still learning and figuring out this whole new world.

Yes trans is removed for upper oil pan repair and fluid draining is not required. They may add a little fluid once it's back in due to fluid loss when disconnecting the cooler lines but that's about it.
There was never a line item for trans fluid on either of the repairs I had done. Coolant in the primary system does get replaced.
Oh ok, I figured it had to be swapped by the sound of it. I'll just plan on doing a fluid swap and filter change.
