My 1960 Ford F-100 is on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
I was contacted by some folks from the producers office from the show The Marvelous Mrs Maisel. They just started up production for season 4 and they needed a stock 1960 pickup truck for a scene being filmed about 2 hour drive from my house. I sent photos and they selected my 1960 Ford F-100
I got to the set at 6:30 am, and after I positioned my truck, I was told to wait until the wrap filming up at the end of the day.

The interesting thing here is that I did not try to get my truck on the show. I was emailed out of the blue by someone who was searching for a 1960 pickup for the show. They said they found me through my subscription to Hemmings. Next I needed to send photos for the producers to review. They selected my truck and I was told the date of the shot and to be on set at 6:30 am. It was filmed on estate in Old Westbury NY - a two-hour trip from my home. Once I got to the set and parked my truck in the position they needed I was free to roam around the set until they wrapped things up at 7PM. BTW - I unloaded all the hay bales myself because I would have been there all night waiting for the folks on set to remove them.
All in all - it was an interesting experience, they fed everyone well and generally the people on set were all friendly. The downside: was the waiting around. I do not think I'd do this again unless they were filming closer to where I live.
Look for Season 4 episode 5 when it's available. That's the episode where you'll see my truck.
Here's when they were filming.
Just a prop on the set.

Since I unloaded the truck at the end of the day, I'd would say they were or very very close to 60lbs.

You never know , you could be asked again for a bigger part, just don't let them put it in a Fast and Furious sequel or you might end up with a parts truck...lol
