I'm coming out of Memphis Tennessee where I'm on my second F150 however this is a 1995 XLT where the hub bearings I purchased are not fitting. Now from my research, i believe I read on another thread that there was a change in the bearing size in 1995. Do I return the bearings purchased or there is a second f150 from 2000. The hubs are not same in size but bearings appear to be so. Should I attempt to use because this is a work truck I need desperately. Get at me on here or call 9016660771. Does the outer bolt stay on & assuming that race needs to come off carefully.
The folks that know about this kind of thing usually don't frequent the "New Members Introductions" forum. You'll probably want to try posting the same thing over in the "1987 - 1996 F150 & Larger F-Series Trucks" forum to get some answers going.
On my 95 I didn't pre load it right (lesson learned lol) and it "welded" the race to the spindle. Had to get a "new'' spindle. Hopefully thats not the case😬
