ISO name and location for a ford dealer near claremore ok
I am looking for the full name and location of a ford dealer I believe to be near claremore, ok in the early 60’s. My 1962 flare side has a dealer installed farm bumper and I can just make out what appears to be a Robinson Ford in a town ending in e near tulsa in 1962. Robinson has a another name I can’t make out ahead of it. This truck belonged to my great grandfather, he bought it new in 1962 and claremore would have been the closest larger town to the farm. These are assumptions. I am getting ready to start a restoration to the original state while keeping some of the changes made by the family out of necessity in order to retain the character and family presence in the vehicle.

Go to the library, look up dealers in old phone books.
Thanks. That is difficult task as I live in Florida and we picked the truck up in Oklahoma and brought south for its retirement life. But I will see what I can source. I was hoping a steel trap mind from the area may remember a dealer meeting my search. I want to get the markings as close as possible to when my great grandfather brought the truck to the farm.
