I am the new guy and I have a 1952 F3 that I stared to do a frame off restoration a few months ago. I have found your posts to be very helpful so I joined up and hope to make a few new friends. I have spent the first half my life as a mechanic and the second as a welder and looking forward to my project but may need some help a long the way.
and yes I made a lot more money as a welder then I ever did as a mechanic don't know why but people always seen to ask me that question.
Welcome - you'll use both of those skills messing around with these trucks, especially making money lol...
Enjoy your truck. If you need anything this group can help with, just ask.

If you want to consider meeting some of us in person, there will be a get together next October in Milesburg, PA that will be a good time. There is a thread here called 'Truckstock 2021, plan now'.
Whether you have a truck ready to drive by then does not matter, all members here are welcome to come and hang out, swap parts and stories and go on a driving tour. You can ride shotgun in another 48-56 truck and enjoy the scenery.
As you have probably learned, the F2/F3 specific parts are hard come by but this group has some hints and tips to locate them. The good thing is that nearly all your engine and cab parts are the same from F1-F8 and are fairly easy to find.
Can't wait to see your pictures.

Wow, that is a great amount of progress so far. That truck is going to be very nice. And if you continue at that pace....I can picture that F3 proudly arriving at the PA Truckstock next October.
