Good morning Vermont and FTE land. September is in the books. Was great weather. Hopefully you were able to enjoy it. Blue moon month so maybe it won’t be too cloudy tonight and Halloween night. Should see some snow at some point this month. Get those last big outside projects done before snow.

Good morning Vermont visitors Bud, John, Shaun and master woodchuck Jim. Gorgeous morning here for opening of deer season. Headed out for hike shortly. Two dogs to rehome today, one we picked up from a tough situation yesterday - loaded with fleas, worms, has a growth that needs to be examined for cancer and has been eating whatever the food bank puts out. Sad because the owner is keeping another dog in the same conditions - house with no heat and no many to take care of the animals. This dog has never seen a vet, never been neutered, etc. Nice little guy, very calm. We have dewormed and de-fleaed him, given him two baths to get the smoke smell out of his coat (no money for food but plenty for cigarettes) and he is off to a great foster home tomorrow for a complete vet check and real care.
Sorry to rant but people's priorities are so out of whack sometimes.
Hope you all have a great day - these two dogs will be going to far better places for sure so their days are looking up. Hope your days are looking up for October.
